Construction Details

Hat: purchased off Amazon and edited to fit the pony tail on the wig. Attached with barrettes into the wig to keep it on my head.

Overcoat + large panels: Made from Jacquard fabric, with red liner, and interfacing. The edge was lined with a very sparkling but simple border, and hand sewn on.

Vest: Red Jacquard with red lining, and interfacing. Secured by safety pins for ease of getting in and out of it.

Cape and Collar: Separate pieces put together. Collar made from stiff interfacing, and black Jacquard with black liner. Cape made from stiff interfacing and brown pleather.

Rakuyo (Weapons): Made from insulation foam board, Long blade and short blade secured with magnets in the handles. Painted with Acrylic black and silver.

Wig: Purchased from Arda Wigs, most styling done by me, some assistance by Arda Wigs booth from EGLX 2018.

Time: 30 hrs.
